I work with people who....

pray. We had such a horrible meeting at work today. I looked up at my supervisor and said, "Can we pray?" So we did, and we were able to get through it. I have never had this at any job. Talk about a 'benefit package'!! I have to get my second wind. Just coming off of a huge project (that requires continued follow up), I know that everything I put off during this project time is about to explode onto my lap. Some of them are fun things.... who doesn't want to completely revamp a psychosocial rehab program?!? Fun! We serve the sweetest and most fun individuals, so it will be great fun. However, then I have to add dual disorder treatment (fidelity based), complete templates for the electronic medical record, write job descriptions and hire a new therapist, review performance for all staff, review my charge denials, etc. etc. etc. Whew! Hmmmm how to get a second wind?

Happy 2011! Time for a fresh start. It is a very challenging time at work, new state audits coming. Hopefully, I have done all that I can do to help us shine! It is always hard to get back in the swing after the holidays. I wanted to take a nap under my desk this week. I though really hard about it, but decided I might end up with some unexplainable 'lint' on my sweater. Must get yoga mats at work!

It is basketball season for Anna, and KJ and George are going back to school at Longview. Community College is great, much more affordable.

That's all I have. Just grateful for my family, my home, friends, and life.
