refills

I need a refill and don't know how to get one. It feels like I have been waiting for the waitress to come by and fill me up. There is no waitress. I am exhausted.

Second wind...

Well, that second wind I requested is slow in coming. I have so much work to do, and I feel like doing NONE of it. If I could find a good book, I could ignore all of it for a few more days.

Snow is piling up outside, which usually serves to make the world sssssssllllllloooooooowwwwww doooooooowwwwwwwwwwwnnnnnn. I like it for that reason. I dislike snow and freezing cold because it kills homeless people and pets. We have already lost two of our homeless guys this year. Charity organizations are running out of resources and turning folks away. This doesn't leave us with a lot of options, and we are talking life or death options. Why aren't the answers easy or at least available?
